It is, without a doubt, Nic Cage's film. As Jack, he is in every scene and if you're a fan, there's much to enjoy here.

What is The Family Man about? Toggle content

The Family Man is a fantasy-drama-comedy-romance movie that tells the story of Jack Campbell, a successful Wall Street executive who is forced to reevaluate his priorities after a chance encounter with a mysterious stranger on Christmas Eve. As a result, Jack wakes up the next morning to find himself living a parallel life, one that he would have had if he had stayed in the United States with his college sweetheart, Kate, instead of pursuing his career. In this alternate life, Jack is a car tire salesman, living a modest family life with Kate and their two children. Despite the initial shock, Jack begins to embrace this new life, bonding with his children, falling in love with Kate again, and working hard at his job. However, he soon realizes that he has a choice to make: to continue living this life or to return to his high-powered career. The movie explores themes of family, love, and priorities as Jack navigates this new reality and grapples with the idea of what truly matters most to him. Will he choose to stay in this simpler life or return to the fast-paced world of finance? The Family Man is a heartwarming and thought-provoking film that challenges viewers to consider their own priorities and the consequences of their choices.
