Dressed to Kill is a thrilling movie that follows the story of a sexually frustrated housewife named Kate Miller, who attends therapy sessions with Dr. Robert Elliott, a New York City psychiatrist. After being rejected by the doctor, Kate spontaneously has sex with a stranger in an elevator, only to be brutally murdered by a tall blonde woman wielding a straight razor. The prime suspect becomes Liz Blake, a high-priced call girl and the only witness to the crime. As Liz works with Peter, Kate's teenage son, to find the killer, they uncover a web of secrets and lies that lead them to suspect Dr. Elliott himself. The film reaches its climax as Liz and Peter confront Bobbi, Dr. Elliott's transgender alter ego who has been terrorizing Liz throughout the movie. In the end, it is revealed that Dr. Elliott's malevolent personality was responsible for the murders and he is arrested and committed to a mental institution.
