In this powerful documentary, filmmaker Garry Fraser takes a deeply personal look at his own life, growing up in a marginalized community plagued by poverty, violence,s and addiction. With unflinching honesty, he confronts the damage he's done to himself and those around him through his life of crime and drugs. But as he works to create a better future for his three children, Garry finds a glimmer of hope in the form of poetry and filmmaking. The documentary takes the audience on an emotional journey as Garry battles his heroin addiction and fights to create a loving and supportive family for his children.
