Partly Cloudy is a 2009 computer-animated short film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The film takes place in a world where clouds create and deliver babies to new parents. The main character, Gus, is a lonely gray cloud who creates "dangerous" babies, such as crocodiles, porcupines, and sharks, which are delivered by his friend and partner, a stork named Peck. As Gus's creations become more rambunctious, Peck's job becomes increasingly difficult. When Peck sees that his next delivery is a baby shark, he becomes fearful and flies away. Gus feels rejected and unleashes a brief thunderstorm, but Peck soon returns with protective gear created by another cloud to keep him safe. The film explores themes of friendship, partnership, and the challenges of delivery.
